Packaging
This Nature’s Destiny cleansing balm comes in a small tin round container with a proper label in the front and the back. It also mentions the direction of usage in the packaging itself. There’s no plastic involved in the packaging and I absolutely love this no-plastic waste container. But I found a few faults in their labeling:
- I noticed that their ingredients mentioned on the tin did not match with their website. For example, avocado oil was mentioned as a key ingredient in the packaging but it was not mentioned as an ingredient in their website. UPDATE: They have fixed the issue.
- Their price was mentioned as Rs.299 in the packaging but on their website, it is mentioned Rs.175 and I bought it for the same.
I hope the brand can fix this as it might lead to a confusion.
Consistency, Texture & Smell
This cleansing balm has a thick consistency and the texture is quite smooth but it does tend to soften into a cream-like form if it is not kept in the refrigerator. I live in a hot and humid place, so on days when the weather is very hot, then this balm does soften a bit. So before using the product, I keep it in my refrigerator for about 5-10 minutes. If you rub the product you will feel tiny gritty particles in it that melts away when you add water to emulsify it
It does have added fragrance in it and its not the most pleasing fragrance, to be honest. I hope the brand would either make the product fragrance-free or tone down the fragrance a bit.
How To Use The Nature’s Destiny Pomegranate & Vitamin C Cleansing Balm?
- Apply the balm all over your face.
- Gently massage the balm in circular motion
- Apply water to emulsify the balm
- Wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth or wash it off with water

My Final Thoughts Of The Product
I bought this Nature’s Destiny cleansing balm because of its price and the fact that it contained vitamin C. It is meant for dry and sensitive skin and by looking at the ingredients, you will find a lot of emollients and moisturizing ingredients.
I’ve used this cleansing balm to remove my makeup. I’ve scooped out a small amount of the balm and massaged it onto my skin and my eyes to remove the makeup. I’ve noticed that it does breakdown your foundation (used the Maybelline SuperStay Foundation) and did not sting my eyes while trying to remove my eye makeup. After that, I splashed some water to emulsify it and it turned milky and then I washed it off.
I’ve noticed that the balm easily removed my base makeup, my eyebrow pencil, and my Nykaa So Creme lipstick but it did not remove my waterproof mascara. I’ve also tested it out with waterproof liquid lipsticks and it did not remove them as well. But there’s a weird thing that it did remove my waterproof n*de lipstick but not my reds or darker shades. I even went ahead and tried a second layer to remove the waterproof liquid lipstick, now it removed them around 40% (But did not budge my Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink).
After washing it off, my face felt very soft and there was no greasy feeling. But still, I went ahead and used a second cleanser as a part of my double cleansing routine. I even used it to remove my sunscreen and it did a good job in removing every single bit of it.
I feel like it is one of the most affordable cleansing balms in India (Check out the 10 Best Cleansing Balms in India here) and is great for dry skin. It never dries me out and makes my skin soft and supple after every wash. But I don’t feel like it will replace my micellar water because I do tend to wear waterproof mascara and lipsticks and it did not remove that in the first place. But I’ll definitely use it when I don’t use any waterproof makeup as it does a good job in removing my makeup and making my skin feel fresh and plump.
The only issue I have with this cleansing balm is the fragrance. It’s not at all pleasing and I’m a person who doesn’t have any issue with fragrance because it is a wash-off treatment. They also mentioned this cleansing balm for sensitive skin but I’d recommend that you do a patch test before because it does contain lavender essential oil and fragrance that are not great for sensitive skin. I hope you enjoyed this Nature’s Destiny review. I’d love to review more of their products.

Final Verdict
I do like this cleansing balm but it smells funky so I may not be using it as often. It does help in removing makeup and dirt easily but not waterproof mascara/lipstick. I do like how my skin feels soft and supple after using this balm and it does not dry out my skin.

I feel like I can work around the fragrance cause it’s going to be washed off and it’s not a treatment toner or serum which skins into the skin. Again on the waterproof makeup bit, I don’t wear any mascara so no problem there, the liquid lipstick I think the lighter shades are overall easier to remove vs the darker red shades isn’t it? Mainly I want to know if it’ll remove layers of sunscreen I think with the price point it’s worth a buy.
Hi Simran, yes it does remove layers of sunscreen. I’ve updated the post now. Thank you, I totally forgot to mention that. I don’t have any issue that it contains fragrance but just the fact that it smells funky. It’s a good one cleansing balm though
