Wanting the perfect hydrating serum is a dream for people with dry skin. The same applies to my moody dry skin that has the tendency to switch between combination, dehydrated and lastly dry! So when Luxurious Adore Avocado Skin Duo was launched, I instantly felt like this one would definitely be a hit for my skin type. Avocado is a rich plant-based antioxidant that is emollient in nature. This ingredient being the key ingredient in this range made me go gaga over the products.

To be honest I was just waiting for my Dr. Sheth’s Cica & Ceramide Serum testing period to get over so that I can hop onto this new range. Yes, this whole lockdown made me a skincare buff from a makeup addict! I’ve started prioritizing skincare a bit over makeup and started following complete routines every single day. Luxurious Adore Avocado Milk Serum is described as a “hydra boost drop of moisture” that also helps to treat acne. It is part of the Luxurious Adore Avocado Skin Duo alongside the Hydra Dew eye creme. This avocado milk serum comes in a frosted glass bottle with a silver dropper. The packaging is simply gorgeous and classy but I do feel that its a bit difficult to get the serum out of the dropper once you finish half of it because of its rich texture.

Consistency, Color & Smell:

The Luxurious Adore Avocado Milk Serum has a runny, viscous, milky consistency with a slight hint of green. Its is very moisturizing and feels absolutely like a moisturizer. It has a lightweight texture that gets absorbed very quickly.

It has a pleasant smell of sweet melons which I absolutely love. It somehow reminds me of the summers. The serum is very nourishing that even for my dry skin, I can replace my moisturizer with this single serum for my AM routine.

How To Use?

As A Serum: Use it after cleansing and toning, on damp skin. Follow it up with a moisturizer (if needed) and Hydra Dew Eye Creme.

As A Moisturizer: Use it after cleansing or toning, on damp skin. Follow it up with sunscreen for AM or with Hydra Dew eye creme for PM

My Thoughs On The Product:

Luxurious Adore Avocado Milk Serum is one of the best hydrating serum for dehydrated skin. Its perfect for dry skin and even oily skin can use it as a moisturizer. The ingredients are pretty simple and that makes the product totally perfect for all skin types.

Its a hydrating and nourishing serum that needs to be applied on damp skin for better absorption. I use it in the AM and PM and every single time it makes my skin well nourished and hydrated. It even added a glow to my skin and my skin felt clearer than before.

Usually, I tend to get at least 1 hormonal breakout but surprisingly the whole month I did not get a single one. It does diminish the chances of getting breakouts which is a big pro for me. Being a hydrating serum with a milky consistency, it does help to soothe any irritation, swelling or puffiness.

I cannot comment whether or not it combats premature ageing because I don’t really have fine lines at all (touch wood). But I do feel it will work for mature aged skin because of its well nourishing properties.

When the brand mentioned it as an “Ultra Hydration Booster”, I cannot agree more. Its does pair well with AHAs and BHAs. I did apply it after using an AHA BHA Peeling Solution and surprisingly it soothed my skin. It also does pair well with COSRX Snail Mucin, you will wake up with the dewiest skin.

You can use it every day in the AM and PM. It’s like a potent moisturizer that works as a serum and has the ability to clear out your skin and nourish at the same time.

People with all skin types can use it, even acne-prone skin. But I’d recommend a patch test for those with acne-prone skin.

Luxurious Adore Hydra Dew Eye Creme is described as a light-whipped cream with Avocado Oil & Butter that gently salve the delicate area of the eyes. It is part of the Luxurious Adore Avocado Skin Duo. It comes in a small glass tub that has the same vibe as of the avocado milk serum. If you are worried about the tub packaging, you can obviously use a tiny spatula to scoop out the products.

Consistency, Color & Smell:

This eye creme as a thick yet whipped cream-like texture. It is very smooth and you need the tiniest amount for your under eyes. It has a faint hint of green in it and smells just like its counterpart Avocado Milk Serum.

My Thoughs On The Product:

Luxurious Adore Hydra Dew Eye Creme is a hydrating eye cream that deeply nourishes and moisturizes your undereye. It does not sting nor does it makes your eyes water like few other under-eye treatments. With repeated usage, I’ve noticed that it made my under eyes quite hydrated. It does help slightly with puffiness, not a huge difference but does reduce it to some bits.

Due to its thick texture, I’d not recommend using it with any concealer because it will make your concealer crease. I’ve used Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer on top of it and it did not pair well. So in case, you don’t wear concealer use it in the AM or simply use it as part of your night time skincare routine.

I love how the brand did not claim anything like diminishing dark circles, because I have come to an agreement that under eye creams cannot magically remove dark circles, they can provide nourishment and extra care for your delicate under eyes.

I use it right after I apply my Avocado Milk Serum and then go on top with a moisturizer or facial oil. I really hope the brand comes up with a moisturizer for this particular range with a similar texture as the eye creme. It would be a dream for my dry skin.

Overall, its a good hydrating eye cream that leaves the delicate skin soft and supple. The eye creme might be thick but it absorbs well into the skin and does not leave behind any stickiness. I’d recommend it if you are searching for a good hydrating eye cream to rejuvenate and nourish your under eyes.
