I’ve received the Luxurious Adore Saffron Collection a while ago. I’m guilty of procrastinating and hence here I am reviewing the products and sharing my in-depth review during the Lock-down!

Saffron is the crimson stigma and style, derived from the plant Crocus sativus. It has high antioxidant properties and various vitamins that help in enhancing your skin. It is anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory which helps to treat acne and soothe the skin.

Luxurious Adore Saffron Cleanser Review
This is a mild facial cleanser and I was using it the wrong way for a very long time. I really love how easily it cleans my face. You are supposed to squirt few drops of it on a face towel or cotton and wipe it on your cleansed face and neck twice a day. I was using like a face wash and I loved it that way. So, it’s a 2-in-1 product, you can use it to remove light makeup as well as use it as your daily face wash.

My Thoughts On The Product?
I use it as a face wash and it does a great job in cleansing my face without drying it. I love how my face is not striped off of its moisture and that’s what my combination-to-dry-skin wants. I really love using this Cleanser as it is very mild but at the same time gentle on the skin.
It has a clear gel like consistency that foams up as you massage your skin and surprisingly it did not dry me down. Generally gel based cleansers dry out my combination-to-dry skin. If you have oily skin, you’d also love this product
Coming to its claims, it does make my skin appear brighter for few minutes. I do feel that it takes away the dullness as soon as you use it. I did notice a slight glow but these effects are not permanent.
I’ve also used it to remove light-makeup and it does a good job in removing 90% of it. So, if you don’t use heavy makeup, it can also double up as a makeup remover.
It does have a pleasant fragrance which I feel is not too overboard but if you have sensitive skin that can be a problem. Overall, anyone with normal, dry, combination, and oily skin can use this.
Do I Recommend It?
I’d highly recommend it to dry skin and it does not strip your skin of moisture. If you want a face wash/cleanser that does not dry you down, then this one is for you.
Luxurious Adore Saffron Scrub Review
The Saffron Scrub is a creamy scrub with round beads. I absolutely love the texture of this product and the way it feels on my skin.

My Thoughts On The Product?
I love the way it makes my skin feel. It has a creamy base that does not dry you down at all. It makes your skin soft and moisturized but not greasy. I did notice that my face appears a bit brighter (only for a short period). It contains saffron beads that burst while scrubbing which is quite gentle on the skin.
It contains glycerin and vitamin E which keeps your face moisturized even after scrubbing your face. Stearic Acid found in this product act as an emollient and emulsifier which helps to protect the skin’s surface against water loss.
Personally, I have totally shifted to chemical exfoliaters, but I do like a good physical exfoliater from time to time.
Do I Recommend This?
You can try it out as it is pretty good and affordable.
Luxurious Adore Saffron Mask
I’ve been really enjoying this particular Saffron Clay mask because it helps in brightening my skin and shrinking my pores and did help in drying down any pimple.

My Thoughts On The Product?
I have a love-hate relationship with this mask. Sometimes it makes me fall in love with it, sometimes I don’t love it, maybe due to a change in the weather. It gives a temporary glow which is great if you want to detox your skin every now and then.
You need to mix it with water, rose water, or milk, but I did apply it directly and it worked great as well. It helped refine my congested skin and gave a supple appearance.
It goes a cooling sensation and does not dry you down even though it is a clay-based mask. Moreover, it contains ingredients like Saffron extract, Aloe Vera, and Tree Turmeric. Saffron helps in giving your skin is getting that golden glow, while aloe vera helps soothe your skin. The Tree Turmeric has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties.
I’d also recommend that you don’t just wash it off with water, rather massage it while washing it, so it exfoliates your skin as well. I’d not recommend you to use it on top of active acne.
Will I Recommend It?
Absolutely Yes. If you are looking for a good quality clay mask that brightens your face (temporarily), then you can try this out.
Luxurious Adore Saffron Toner Review
I never thought I’d be loving face mists in 2020. Lately, I’ve been switching between Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner, Glamaroma Tea Tree Toner, and this Luxurious Adore Saffron toner. The Saffron Toner has a fine mist that instantly calms down my skin, refreshes it, tones it, and provides a teeny tiny bit of moisture.

My Thoughts On The Product?
I do really this mist, its very fine and instantly soothes my skin and any redness. But It does contain fragrance which does smell pleasant and I don’t have a problem with it. But If you are someone who is not fond of fragrance in skincare or do have sensitive acne-prone skin, then it might be a problem for you.
Note: It contains natural fragrance from the ingredients itself.
You can directly spritz it onto your face or in cotton and wipe it on your skin as a toner. I’ve used either way but I like to directly spritz on my face because a) it instantly refreshes my skin b) the mist is so fine that it soothes my skin.
It claims to be an anti-dullness toner which is quite true as I feel like my face gets a boost of brightness.
Will I Recommend It?
Its a great mist, totally soothes your skin down. You can definitely try it out.
Luxurious Adore Saffron Jelly
This is one of my favorites from this Luxurious Adore Saffron Collection. This Saffron Jelly is so light-weight and absorbs really quickly and it’s even great for dry combination skin during summers. I’ve even purchased the earlier edition last year and loved it.

My Thoughts On The Product?
I absolutely love this Luxurious Adore Saffron jelly. It is so lightweight that it gets absorbed into your skin real quick and gives a slight glow to your face, I’ve used this during the winters but I felt like I needed another layer of moisturizer. But during this time, when it is pretty hot and humid in my place, I use it just after any serum and it keeps my skin well moisturized.
It does tighten your skin not in a bad way, but in a good way. You can totally skip a primer if you don’t have open pore issues, and use this as a makeup base instead. I’ve also observed that it soothes your skin, irritation, or any redness after a few minutes of application.
If you have oily skin, just get this one. It is a water based gel that instantly absorbed into you skin as you rub it.
Will I Recommend It?
I highly recommend this Luxurious Adore Saffron jelly to all skin types. But dry skin can only use this during the summers or spring.
Luxurious Adore Saffron Elixir Review
This Luxurious Adore Saffron Elixr is again one of my favorites from this range. It is a light-weight water-based serum. I found the consistency to be quite similar to the Pixi Vitamin C Serum.

My Thoughts On The Product
This Luxurious Adore Saffron Elixir has become a staple in my skincare routine. I’ve been using this whenever the climate is too hot and humid because it is sufficient for my combination-to dry skin. It has a runny texture that gets absorbed into your skin quickly and as I’ve been using this almost daily during the lockdown, I’ve noticed that my skin has brightened up.
You will have to use it for almost 2 months to notice a difference. I can vouch for the skin brightening and anti-dullness but I did not notice any reduction of pigmentation around my mouth.
It is rich in Omega 3, 6, Vitamin B, C, E, and Antioxidants as it contains Saffron extract, Ascorbic acid, and Vitamin C. I feel like Vitamin C in this serum really helps in brightening up your skin.
I’ve used it as a day and night serum. It might be lightweight, water-based but you would feel your skin to be quite moisturized and plump. But, if you have super dry skin, you would require an extra moisturizer on top of it.
I did not notice any breakouts so its quite safe to use it daily on your skincare routine.
Will I recommend It?
Absolutely Yes. I’d recommend it to Normal, Dry and Oily Skin. One of the best brightening serum I’ve ever used.
